Anyone with pain would definitely say a big yes if they were asked if they were ready to enjoy living again. After all, no one wants to be in a constant state of pain. Fortunately most folks know arthritis pain can be controlled. Sometimes, they just don’t know how.

Pain comes in many forms, not just arthritis. Back pain, muscle strains, swelling, stiffness, fatigue and other related symptoms seem to be du jour ailments many people currently have. Even sunburn and mosquito bites can be extremely painful.

Imagine trading in pain and playing a round of golf or fishing or walking or jogging or knitting or quilting or picking up a grand child. All of these are definitely preferrable to living in pain.

While modern medicine hasn’t discovered a cure for arthritis pain, arthritis pain can be controlled. Enjoying relief for the longest period of time possible is the goal. Some products are better at it than others.

Arthritis Pain can Be Controlled

Some practitioners believe a homeopathic arthritis pain relief medication provides the quickest and longest relief possible. They say it is universal relief regardless of the source of the pain.

Their reasoning states that hoemopathic products are derived from all natural, and may be even some organic, occurring materials Mother Nature gives us. The argument can be made that everything Mother Nature gives us is organic.

However, the homeopathic proponents are quick to point out that if you mix an organic product with what is termed a non-organic product the result may not be classified as organic. It can be called natural but not necessarily organic.

Other practitioners state modern medicine has produced a varied number of pain relief pills. This is true as doctors have a pharmacopia of pain “pills” they can prescribe.

These practitioners believe the drugs attack the pain producing area and reduce or eliminate the pain better than any other remedy. However, these same practitioners either overlook or downplay the side effects caused by these same pain medications.

The all natural or homeopath side of the equation agrees their products could produce side effects but say those instances are rare and don’t even come close to the numbers created by the drug advocates. Either way, both sides make a point when they say arthritis pain can be controlled.

They both have the studies and body of evidence to prove their point. What a person decides to use to reduce or eliminate their pain in most instances is up to them. For a person in chronic unbearable pain, the story is probably one sided.

Doctors agree that only the most potent pain killers are right for this type of person. That may or may not be true but it is modern day protocol.

On the other side of the coin, the people with pain that the gauntlet from mild to severe can enjoy pain relief by using a product from either side of the argument. And, for example, let’s say a person who used drugs to control their pain discovers a natural pain reliever that works, they can always include it in their treatment menu or let it replace the drugs.

The same holds true for the person using natural methods. If the pain reaches the point where they need a drug for control, they can include it in their treatment menu or let it replace the natural method.

People are people and pain is a common affliction. The idea is to control the pain until it can be totally eliminated. The only way to do that currently is to be aware of the causes of your pain and seek out the remedy or treatment that is best for you.

Don’t be afraid to ask your doctor questions about any prescribed drugs or if you decide to use a natural product, ask the pharmacist behind the counter. Arm yourself with information so you know what you are putting into your body or putting on your body.

The goal is to not increase the pain or cause new pain problem centers but to reduce or entirely eliminate existing pain. A pain free life may not be completely possible but arthritis pain can be controlled.
